Hello! I'm a big fan of your colour choices in your art especially for your painting style pieces(if that's what you'd call those?). Is there a technique behind how you pick the colours for your works so they work as harmonically as they do? Studying your art fr fr

Here's some of my favs of yours and just to show what I mean by paintings :] so very tasty. If you feel like it's purely intuitive I get that! and thanks for blessings our eyes anyways!!

Lmaooo Xitsen I wish I could tell you I have a magical formula when it comes to colour. In reality, I have a very frantic process /sweats

The first three images actually had designated ‘colour reference’ that I was using. Basically I had a pose ref and a colour ref. I don’t always use a colour ref, but for these three I did. AND EVEN THOUGH I DID, the final product ended up being very different from the reference. I also chronically merge layers. Like all the time, even if I regret it sometimes, I can’t be stopped.

I remember specifically on the Sun one, I was working with two layers; the background and the figure. Then I duplicated the Sun figure, shifted the colour in the ‘hue’ slider, and fiddled around with some of the layer filters. I merged those two layers, and used my trusty 6B Procreate Pencil brush (default) to blend in some of the colours that looked wonky. And I don’t mean smudge, I mean eye dropper and sketch on top. Messy messy.

The last two were a bit different but still kinda the same. I frequently duplicate layers I’ve already done and mess around with the colour on the hue slider, using the layer filters all wild. I just try and see what looks good, but I try to stick with at least a cool shadow with a warm light, or the opposite.

Basically, fiddle with crazy colours and win silly prizes. My colours don’t always turn out nice, but I’m flattered that you found the ones that I also like. The first three are gems in my collection that I think back on like ….how did I do that…?

As a special bonus to prove my point, here’s an art attack I did for last year that started with an entirely different colour scheme from the final.

On the left is the colour scheme I chose from colour reference (I think an old movie poster) and the right is the more ‘vampiric’ one that I ended up choosing. But in all honesty, there were a bunch of colour schemes that looked good with this piece. It’s a good example of cool shadows, warm light and vice versa.

Hello! It depends where you're doing it- unfortunately tiktok punishes creators when their followers spam like their whole page. But if it's on Tumblr it's absolutely fine!

I was wandering... Has the donor ever snapped and told the vampires to leave? I'm picturing their reactions as different depending on what time in their relationship it happens but...y/n yelling at them to just LEAVE (after an argument or just when they are fed up and miserable bc of their presence alone) and never come back and one or both of them (physically or with words?) threatening them with "do you think you are the one in control? Or that you have a choice and can order us around?". And the donor is just "do it. I don't care anymore" leaning to their claws??? This is my brairot talking btw so bare with me if it doesn't make sense, but would something like that happen? What would S&M reactions be? I'm very much curious 👁️👄👁️

When tugged at both sides, anyone would snap. You can't exactly afford them to leave, as much as you want them to, your headache would only get bigger. So the furthest you'll go is to order them to leave you alone or leave the house.

When you finally do, the first thing you see on their faces is mostly surprise, somehow neither of them expected your patience to thin this fast. And to your own surprise, they'd concede, maybe with some reluctance, but it would be awfully quiet in the house for the next week or so, to a point of being unnerving.

That's when you realise that maybe, just maybe, you should try to be bolder. To take your own space back, as much as you can.

You'd feel around, walking on eggshells, just to find out that in a lot of things your now housemates don't even mind you to take the lead. If anything, your newly gained liveliness and confidence almost made them seem less intimidating. The knife-like sharpness of their eyes and grins didn't change, but now you somewhat knew how to handle it.

But then you make the same mistake Sun and Moon did with you - push on the wrong button. And even with both vampires towering over you, throwing threats, something clicks.

Have they ever followed through with any of their implied threats? And more importantly -

Would you want to find out if they do?

At the very start you wouldn't be brave enough to, and your attempt to regain control by trying to demand they do as you say would be laughed at, oh what a silly little thing.

When you have known each other for a little while, they'd become just a teeny tiny bit more mindful of how they go about interacting with you, the stakes getting higher the closer you three get.

They are all bark no bite type of guys, despite having done plenty of demonstrating of what they're capable of, never directly hurting you. It does take a while for you to realise that.

But yeah if reader does end up calling them out on said fact as in your example, putting yourself in danger willingly, that's a clear case of you actually finally winning. Both Sun and Moon would be quite distressed by your actions, silently yanking their hand away from you. Moon would angrily grumble something, hurrying to leave the room, while Sun would stand there for a moment with a blank face, before firmly stating "I count on you never doing anything this stupid ever again, yes?" and hesitantly leaving as well.

I doubt they would ever snap back at you when you're distressed, unless they are too.

Hi, just a curious question but when will you write/draw about how doctor y/n first met sun and moon? because in the FAQ, you said that you will show or answer the question we might ask but it has been a year and i haven't seen any spoilers or more details about the au?

I'm saying this not only to you but to everyone out there who is asking similar questions. Stop treating creators like content generators. You're not entitled to the content you're shared with for free.

Firstly - you're not being curious, you're being rude.

Secondly - if you're not monetising the creations you like, you have no word on deciding how soon they will come out. I'm the host, you're a guest, I'm not a seller, nor you're a customer, nor a consumer.

And finally - the more you ask the less motivation I will have. The best thing you can do is engage and support. This will result in the opposite outcome.

It will come out when it will come out. I am a living person with who knows what type of everyday struggles and you're in no place to say "it has been a year".

The fact that you've read the FAQ that said "no need to ask this question" and still you decided it was ok to do so just shows how entitled you think you are to my creations.

Does silver and salt still have effect on the boys like it does with average vampires or nah?

Almost nothing from classical weapons for vampires effects them the way it's portrayed in media.

They have funny little allergy on garlic, obviously bullets would hurt them like any other robot, with some differences that I can't talk about rn but yeah. Sunlight situation you already know. Stuff like holy water, mirrors, them not being able to enter your house without permission and stuff like that is not there.

They're more of animatronics than mystical creatures. Some things about them are obviously different but how different? They need blood for survival. Why? How? Who knows.

Hello! I saw that very rude ask about your au so I wanted to offer some support if it might make you feel better! I know personally I've spent three days on trying to draw one hand in an art piece before and it's been nearly two years since I've started my W.I.P of a fanfic and haven't even gotten through chapter two. Art takes time, especially art you want to be proud of, and I'm so sorry someone thought they were so entitled to your talent they would ask that like your the newest streamed show or something. You're honestly so talented and I absolutely adore every time I get to see another piece of art you've created, please don't let idiots like that get you down about the wonderful creations you make! You're awesome and honestly I've always seen you and your blog as a nice, safe place with so many lovely things to enjoy. Thank you for even deciding to share what you have with us, and I hope people like that can be grateful for what you've already shared in the future two, because none of us are ever owed anything, much less more. This isn't a diss or anything but I've had difficulties with reading your stuff (dyslexia) & noticed your r's look like z's (to me as a singular person's perspective) and that's why I've been so confused when reading. I've solved the mystery and will be able to move forward stronger

I think they both would go crazy over galactic type of lamps, the ones that project galaxies on your walls and stuff. Moon would like warm and dim colours, Sun would like bright ones <3
